Bio Energy
Proftech International Vietnam owns and operates their own test field for Jatropha trees in the hearthland of Vietnam.
The field was started in 2006 and presently has about 500 trees growing on it. A test was made between seeds from Africa, Indonesia and Vietnam. Currently Proftech is expanding into a larger field.
This small non-profit project provided work and income for two local families engaged in farming.
In 2005 Proftech International invested in a small Vietnamese SME in order to produce charcoal from coconut shell (waste). Today the company has a production capacity of about 60'000 kg per month and the product is successfully being exported to the USA. The product is an ideal substitute for charcoal made from wood. It is based on natural and clean bio waste and has a carbon content up to 95%!
Market Study
Proftech International Vietnam is currently engaged by Swiss clients in two extensive market research studies.
1) Market research; analysis of competitors for a company listed on the Swiss stock exchange, in order to determine their corporate strategy for Vietnam. Time allocated for this case study is from six to eight months.
2) Search and evaluation of suppliers for Swiss trading companies looking for producers of specialized industrial protective clothing.
The eligible suppliers in Vietnam are to be selected on the basis of high quality, competitive prices and a reassurance that no child labor is used.
Quality Control
Proftech International Vietnam is engaged in quality control for a US based importer of food products from Vietnam.
The services offered;
keeping in touch with suppliers, checking on the execution of orders, quality control as well as inspecting merchandise before shipment is made.
Exhibitions
Business Exhibitions in Vietnam attract many visitors and are an ideal platform for foreign companies to display their products and explain their services to potential clients.
Proftech International has organized country and company pavilions at the 2006 and 2008 Vietship exhibitions.
